# Epic Rentals

> Epic Rentals rents brand-new appliances, TVs, laptops, furniture, gaming and fitness gear to people and businesses in South Africa on a fixed monthly payment. After the term (6 to 60 months) the item is yours for one final monthly payment. From the team behind Epic Deals.

## Key facts
- Every item is brand new. Nothing is refurbished or second-hand.
- Terms run from 6 to 60 months. The monthly payment is fixed for the whole term.
- The 6-month term has a 25% deposit. From 12 months there is no deposit.
- At the end of the term you keep the item after one final monthly payment, or upgrade to something newer.
- Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa: small items in 2 to 4 working days, large items in 5 to 10, once approved.
- Items carry the manufacturer's warranty on manufacturing faults. Maintenance and repairs, liquid damage, accidental or self-inflicted damage, and theft or loss are not covered.
- A finance partner assesses each application. Personal applications need an ID, the latest payslip, three months of bank statements and proof of residence, and usually get an answer within 24 hours.
- Businesses can rent too: at least two years of trading, six months of business bank statements, CIPC documents, proof of business address, the latest financials and every director's ID. Business answers take 48 to 72 hours.
- Epic Rentals is rent to own, not a subscription: the item is yours at the end.

Upgrades are handled through Epic Rentals in coordination with Digirent.
