I missed a payment?
Not to worry. These things happen. You can either make the payment or return the device.
Please note: Penalty for non-payment does not apply if the device is returned within 48 hours of the missed payment.
1. Penalty for non-payment
1.1. If the Client fails to make a timeous payment within 2 days of the due date in that month, Epic Rentals will give 48 hours for the payment to be made.
1.2 Any failure of collecting the funds after the 48 hours waiting period, the rented device(s) will be collected from the Client.
1.3 Epic Rentals may lock the device, track the device or hand over the in-arrear account to a third-party service in order to recover the financial cost in arrears, the late fee and the device(s)
1.4. Should no collection or payment be made within the time period stipulated above, you will be handed over to a third-party service to recover costs and your credit reputation will be impacted. All legal fees arising from this process would be solely the responsibility of the client to settle.
1.5 A penalty payment of R300 will be charged should the device not be returned after 3 working days and R300 will be charged for every third day with the maximum amount being the market value of the rented device.
