This Bennett Read portable aircon works all year: cooling in January, heating in July, and a dehumidify mode for damp coastal rooms or a stuffy bedroom in the rainy season. At 12000BTU it has more power than a 9000BTU unit for a bigger bedroom or living area.
There are three fan speeds and auto swing vents to spread the air around the room, plus a thermostat that holds the temperature you set. The 24 hour timer can switch it on before you get home or off once you are asleep, and the remote means no getting up to change a setting. A self evaporative system with a built in tank cuts down on emptying water, and the filters wash under a tap. Setup is DIY: fit the window kit, attach the exhaust hose and plug it in. Castor wheels and carry handles make it easy to move between rooms. Register online for a two year warranty.
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa, and there is nothing to pay upfront.
Once your application is approved and your agreement is signed, we schedule your delivery straight away. You do not pay us to have the item shipped. Your first monthly instalment is collected by debit order on the agreed date after delivery.
Normal delivery times: 2 to 4 working days for small items. 5 to 10 working days for appliances.
Our warehouse does not ship on weekends or public holidays.
We want you to be really happy with your rental. If a product arrives faulty or is not as described, we will repair it or replace it.
Manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery are handled under our Returns Policy together with the manufacturer’s warranty. Accidental damage and liquid damage are not covered.
