When the weather turns and the washing line is no use, this 8kg heat pump dryer keeps the laundry moving. A heat pump reuses warm air instead of blowing it outside, so it uses less electricity than a basic vented dryer and needs no hose out of a window.

Moisture detection keeps an eye on how damp the load is and adjusts the cycle, so clothes are not left tumbling long after they are dry. That saves power and helps fabrics last. There are 12 drying programmes for everyday cottons, delicates and bulkier items, and an anti-crease function turns the drum gently at the end so shirts come out with fewer creases if you cannot unload straight away. Touch controls are simple to use, a child lock keeps the settings safe, and adjustable feet keep it level. It is a good partner for an 8kg or 10kg washer. Bennett Read gives three years of warranty once you register online.
