The Defy DINV240 is a 24000 BTU inverter split aircon that cools in summer and heats in winter. It suits open plan living rooms, large bedrooms and small offices.

This is the biggest split system in our Defy range, so it handles rooms where a portable unit simply cannot keep up. Jet Cool drops the temperature fast on a hot Highveld afternoon, and Jet Heat does the same in reverse once winter arrives. As a result, one unit covers the whole year. In addition, five fan speeds and automatic air direction let you aim the air where you actually sit rather than straight at the couch. Meanwhile the 24 hour timer and sleep mode run the unit while you need it and stop it when you do not, which keeps the electricity bill sensible.
A qualified installer handles the standard split fit. Then Epic Rentals delivers anywhere in South Africa at no charge, and you pay a set monthly amount over the term you choose, from 6 months to 60 months. Because the term drives the premium, a longer term means a lower monthly. However, if this unit is larger than you need, the rest of the aircon range covers smaller rooms and portable options.
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa, and there is nothing to pay upfront.
Once your application is approved and your agreement is signed, we schedule your delivery straight away. You do not pay us to have the item shipped. Your first monthly instalment is collected by debit order on the agreed date after delivery.
Normal delivery times: 2 to 4 working days for small items. 5 to 10 working days for appliances.
Our warehouse does not ship on weekends or public holidays.
We want you to be really happy with your rental. If a product arrives faulty or is not as described, we will repair it or replace it.
Manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery are handled under our Returns Policy together with the manufacturer’s warranty. Accidental damage and liquid damage are not covered.
